A SHERP amphibious all-terrain vehicle crossing a flooded marsh

SHERP: the vehicle that goes where no other can, now for Latin America.

CEF Technology represents SHERP in Latin America. We do not replace SHERP’s existing distributors: we support them, with one distribution, training and support centre for the whole region that benefits everyone.

SHERP amphibious all-terrain vehicles cross water, swamp, snow, rock and mud with a payload of up to 1.2 tonnes, and serve oil and gas, mining, energy, rescue and humanitarian work.

Project goal (in process):

A regional base in Venezuela

A product and parts distribution centre in Venezuela, on the Caribbean, with shipping across Latin America. Units and parts close to every market in the region.

One centre for every distributor

SHERP already has distributors in the region, and they stay. The centre is theirs too: shared stock of units and parts, operations and maintenance training, and support across Latin America.

Where SHERP works

Oil and gas

Pipeline inspection and maintenance across swamps and wetlands.

Mining

Crews and equipment to remote sites, in any season.

Power lines

Line work where no road reaches the towers.

Search and rescue

Water, ice and mud crossed in one vehicle.

Humanitarian aid

Last-mile delivery where only aircraft used to reach.

Remote construction

Workers and tools to sites across rivers and thin ice.

Proven in the field

27,000 km

Enbridge’s pipeline network in North America, maintained with SHERP support.

75%

lower transport cost than airdrops for the UN World Food Programme.

USD 1.7 M

saved by the World Food Programme by moving from air freight to SHERP.
