SRT Delivery Service | Panel instructions
Welcome to the SRT Delivery management system. This platform tracks all active video feeds, manages testing periods, and automatically calculates billing totals. Please review this guide to understand how to read the dashboard and correctly submit requests.

Part 1: How to Read the Dashboard:
The dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of our services. Here is exactly what each totalized number means and how the system calculates it:

Total Billable Services (Next Invoice Count):
This is the master number for accounting. It represents every service that will be charged on the upcoming invoice. Note: This number is not just the active services. It includes both ON services and specific OFF services that fall under the cancellation grace period.

Total with Status ON:
These are the fully active, live production services. Every service with an ON status automatically counts as 1 on the billable invoice.

Total with Status OFF and Billable:
If a team member manually pauses or cancels a live service (changes it from ON to OFF), the system stamps the exact date. Depending on our billing cycle rules, a recently cancelled service will still count as 1 on the current month's invoice, but will automatically drop to 0 for the next month. (Note: Services that were shut off by the automated trial expiration system never count toward this number).

Total with Status TEST:
These are active trial feeds. They are currently live but are not generating an invoice count (they count as 0). Each test has a strict expiration date. At midnight on the expiration date, the system will automatically turn the feed OFF unless a team member manually changes the status to ON.

Part 2: Submitting a New Service
To request a brand new feed, use the New Service Request Form | Open the New Service form. | Fill in the exact Distributor, Channel, and Operator. | Set the initial status (usually TEST or ON). | Submit the form. The system will automatically generate a unique Service ID for this feed and log the creation date.

Part 3: Using the Update Service Form (Crucial)
If you need to pause a service, turn it back on, or end a test early, you must use the Update Service Form. Because this form relies on an automated robot to find and update the correct record in the master database, accuracy is strictly required. How to update a service:

Locate the Exact Service ID: Before opening the form, look at the main Dashboard list and find the specific feed you want to update. Note the exact number in the ID column.

Enter the ID Carefully: Type the Service ID into the form. Do not guess or mistype this number. Why? When you click submit, background automation searches the master database for that exact ID. If you type 208 instead of 209, the system will either update the wrong client's feed, or fail entirely because it cannot find the record.

Select the New Status: Choose what the status should be (e.g., if it is ON, select OFF).

Submit: The system will process the update in about 5 seconds. If you refresh the dashboard, you will see the new status and an updated Last Modified timestamp.
